Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds for precision optical components depend on product type, product condition, order status and whether the item is a standard catalog product or a custom-made product.
1. Standard Products
Return requests for standard catalog products should be submitted within 14 days after delivery.
Products must be unused, clean, undamaged, complete and returned in original protective packaging.
Return approval is required before sending any product back to PHOSLENS.
2. Non-Returnable Products
The following products are generally not returnable unless there is a confirmed manufacturing defect or specification mismatch against agreed written requirements:
– Custom-made optics
– Cut-to-size products
– Modified products
– Custom coatings
– Drawing-based products
– Special-order materials
– Products damaged by misuse, installation, cleaning or handling
– Products returned without approval
3. Inspection on Arrival
Customers should inspect products promptly after delivery.
If there is visible shipping damage, missing items, incorrect product, possible quality issue or specification mismatch, please contact PHOSLENS with:
– Order number
– Product SKU
– Photos of the product
– Photos of the packaging
– Description of the issue
– Relevant drawings or agreed specifications, if applicable
4. Return Procedure
To request a return, please contact PHOSLENS before sending the product back.
PHOSLENS will review the request and may provide return instructions if the return is approved.
Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.
5. Return Shipping Cost
If the return is caused by customer ordering error, wrong selection, change of mind or non-quality issue, the customer is responsible for return shipping cost, customs fees and related charges.
If the issue is confirmed to be caused by PHOSLENS, such as wrong item shipped or confirmed specification mismatch, PHOSLENS will review and provide an appropriate solution.
6. Refunds and Replacements
Approved resolutions may include replacement, repair, partial refund, store credit or other agreed solution depending on the issue and order terms.
Refunds are processed after PHOSLENS receives and inspects the returned product, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Original shipping fees, customs duties, taxes and payment provider fees may not be refundable unless required by law or agreed in writing.
7. Custom Optics and RFQ Orders
Custom optics, RFQ orders, samples, special coatings and drawing-based products are made or sourced according to customer requirements.
These products are generally not eligible for return or refund unless there is a confirmed manufacturing defect or confirmed mismatch against agreed written specifications.
