GFH22 fused silica double-sided optical flats have two precision-ground and polished optical surfaces with high flatness and parallelism. Either surface can serve as a reference flat for assessing flatness errors and wringing performance of other highly finished surfaces.
The source states that each optical flat is precision-ground and tested using a Zygo interferometer to verify surface accuracy.
The source describes UV fused silica as offering a wider spectral range than K9 glass, from 185 nm to 2.1 μm, with excellent UV transmission, a lower refractive index, better homogeneity, lower thermal expansion, higher chemical resistance and very low fluorescence.
