GFH21 fused silica single-sided optical flats have one precision-ground and polished optical surface with high flatness. They serve as reference flats for assessing flatness errors and wringing performance of other highly finished surfaces.
The source states that each optical flat is precision-ground and tested using a Zygo interferometer to verify surface accuracy.
The source describes UV fused silica as offering a wider spectral range than K9 glass, from 185 nm to 2.1 μm, with excellent UV transmission, a lower refractive index, better homogeneity, lower thermal expansion, higher chemical resistance and very low fluorescence.
