PPB Pellin–Broca prisms are used to separate laser harmonics and compensate group-velocity dispersion. The source describes entry and exit near the Brewster angle to reduce loss for p-polarized light.
The source ray path uses one total internal reflection and produces a 90° change in propagation direction. K9 and UV fused silica models are listed separately in the model table.
The source labels design wavelength as mm. Values and that original label are retained; the unit is unverified and is not silently changed to nm.
